Textiles could move out of China fast, and a lot have. Harder goods and electronics ain't moving as much, not on net.
A good friend of mine has been an international freight forwarding exec for 20+ years.
Historically, if you wanted to know how big US retailers (who have very good inventory systems) are feeling about sales 2-3 months from now, just look at Chinese ports (esp. in peak season.)" -
