Warsaw: Poland will deliver an initial batch of four Soviet-made MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, Polish President Andrzej Duda said on Thursday, ramping up pressure on other NATO allies to make similar commitments.
The planes are in “full working order” and will be delivered in “the next few days”, Duda said at a news conference in Warsaw alongside his Czech counterpart, Petr Pavel. The delivery would mark the first time any of Ukraine’s NATO allies have delivered jets.

German security agencies shut down world's largest darknet money laundering service
According to security officials, the server and bitcoins worth about €44 million ($46.6 million) were seized.
The Federal Criminal Police Office and the attorney general's office accused the operators of the service of operating commercial money laundering and a criminal trading platform on the internet.
As the security authorities further explained, the service, which has been in existence since 2017, allegedly received the digital currency Bitcoin from criminal origin to disburse it after a so-called "mixing."
IMF mission notes progress in talks with Ukraine on new program, plans to complete discussions in coming days
"An International Monetary Fund mission, led by Mr. Gavin Gray, held policy discussions with the Ukrainian authorities in Warsaw, Poland, during March 8-15 on their request for a fund-supported program," Vahram Stepanyan, the International Monetary Fund Resident Representative to Ukraine, said.
"The discussions between IMF staff and the Ukrainian authorities were productive and very good progress has been made towards agreement on a set of policies that could underpin a fund-supported program. Building on this progress, staff and the authorities expect to conclude the discussions in the coming days," he stated.
